Hello Everyone who happened to find this post!

After doing some critical thinking about our new 1.7 biomes, i was trying to think of some good mobs that would fit in the new ice spike biome... And then it hit me! :D What if there were penguins and polar bears in the biome!

Polar Bears

Polar bears would be quite rare to find, they would spawn mostly near cave openings in the biome. They would have 30 health. The bear would attack if you are in a 7 block range of it, doing about 4 hearts of damage (without any armor). When killed they drop 1-3 fur items. This can be crafted into armor, and would be used for a sign of wealth, and courage.

Penguins would spawn in groups of 5-10 staying together and would spawn generally anywhere in the biome on top of a snow block. They would have the same mechanics as a zombie pigman where if one was attacked they would all attack you as a group doing 1 heart of damage each (with no armor), generally making them a little dangerous. When killed they would drop 2 claws (one from each foot). When put in a crafting table surrounded by iron ingots, it would create 4 spikes. it would have texture like string, but more gray than white. When a player or mob steps on it they take half a heart of damage, which does not stop until they step off the spike. Each spike would have a 10 hit durability and would break after the certain amount.

So that's about all I have came up with so far!
Let me know what you think about it!
