I have spent days going through my sources trying to find evidence that proves the point I am getting across in this blog, Now we all love Notch, I mean, who doesn't, he is a truly remarkable guy and is the reason we are here today. I am extremely proud to present "If Notch was still lead developer."

This is a really good topic to post on.
However, at MineCon 2013 in FL Notch made a comment about why he stepped down as lead developer.
He had stepped down from lead developer simply because he could not maintain Minecraft anymore. He said, and I quote, "I am more of an idea guy than an action guy". This shows that he could no longer maintain Minecraft with his coding knowledge.

The only problem i have with your logic is when notch was getting updates out "every few weeks" minecraft was the majority of what they did. Now mojang has many other games to work on (not nearly as complete as mine craft) so they take priority.

I am rather sure they have different sub-teams for each of the big games, Minecraft, Cobalt and Scrolls.

While that is true, There are quite a few developers who worked with minecraft and were moved into other projects. Lowering the task force for Minecraft

As much as I love the horses and stuff, I still reckon it would have been great if stayed lead developer. At times I feel that some stuff that has been added kind of stray away from the point of minecraft>
