It all started back in 2010, Chase was working his weekend clearing his house of his old junk. As he went through each box, sorting out what he wanted to keep and what he wanted to throw away, he came across a old game cartage. The wallpaper around it was old and slightly faded, he noticed a large tear in the paper, a tear almost knife-like. Upon looking closer he saw it was a Sonic game, he was not much of a Sonic fan and just left the game on his nightstand and continued sorting through the boxes.

After hours of sorting through the junk he was worn out and tired, he headed off to his bed and collapsed sound asleep. Chase was enjoying a soothing rest and enjoying the satisfaction of his tired limbs when his sleep was suddenly stopped abrupt by a loud -child like- screaming, grabbing his flashlight he ran outside to see what was going on. But upon entering the outside world it was dark and silent, he searched around the house perimeter but no sign of anything. "I must be crazy" he thought as he shook his head and headed back to bed.

The next day was not like any other. Chase got up, made his bed, brushed his teeth, and cooked breakfast. He turned on his Xbox 360 and played Halo with his friends. As he was playing, he heard a loud bang in the bathroom and thought it was a cat in the window. But the hit wasn't soft and got louder and louder. He put his tv on mute and heard "READY FOR ROUND 2???" coming from his bedroom. Upon entering the room he saw the game on the floor and flashing on the front of it was "PLAY ME". He was shocked about how the game could not only make those noises, but also move from its location. He picked it up and put it in his Xbox, at first it seemed like an ordinary Sonic game, but soon the whole thing became red and then faded back to blue. He got to the Character selection and chose to play as Sonic. Upon entering the level he ended up dieing over and over without end, discouraged from this he gave up after his 29th fail and went off to Bed.

Later that Night Chase woke abruptly by the TV making strange sounds, he got up and was astonished at it. He tried to turn his lights on but it wasnt working. "Must have forgot to pay the Power bill" he thought as he reached in his drawer and grabbed his flashlight. Down the stairs he went and as he pushed forward down the dark stairway, the sound of the strange beeping was getting clearer almost familiar.
He walked into the room and saw his TV on with bold dark red words "READY FOR ROUND 2 CHASE???" splattered across the screen. Chase stood paralyzed at the site, he didn't recall turning the tv or the Xbox on and how is the TV working yet the lights are not?? He wanted answers and he pressed play on the game. At first it seemed like an ordinary game, he was playing as sonic and it seemed like your run-of-the-mill round. But suddenly the screen cut to pitch black, "Guess the outage caught up to it" chase thought.
As he got up to go the screen boomed to life once again with a Nightmarish looking Sonic on the screen. Upon looking at it, it seemed losted and trapped. He slowly walked forward to the tv and reached his hand towards it, the lost Sonic followed suit and as the met at the screen everything went back to black. "GAME OVER CHASE IM COMING FOR YOU ;)" lit the screen, Chase fell back frightened and ran for his phone. He grabbed his phone and armed himself with his kn*fe and ran back to his room. He slammed the door shut, panting and sweating, and then he heard footsteps moving towards him. The heavy stomping was coming up from the stairs getting louder, more sinister with every step.
