This is my concept for the magma serpent, a new mob inhabiting the nether, it has only 80 hit points. Give me suggestions for attacks, uses for the current drops, and new drops and their uses.

80 isnt even as much health as an iron golem, so maybe it can quickly charge at you and grab you... slowly... painfully... burning you...

How about when it kills you, it eats your stuff and in three minutes it will despawn and the only way to get your stuff back is to kill it.

I don't feel like despawning would be necessary - I think it'd be hard enough to kill it again once you've lost all your stuff and have to also make it back to the nether and find it in the lava
