-WARNING: FLOWERS ARE HEAVILY MENTIONED- Hey my members of the Pineapple revolution! IJAP here with a review of the kind of new 1.7.2 update. New biomes, like savannah, mega taiga, Mesa, and variants have been added, along with new blocks. Compressed ice is found in Ice spikes biomes! and form the ice spikes (duh). They do not melt, but aren't transparent. Red sand is found in mesas, and have the same gravitational idea of normal, not-red sand. Acacia trees have been added to the savannah biome, which can be made into a reddish plank. Dark oak trees can be found in (I think, correct me below) roofed forests, and produce a darker plank than spruce. Flowers have been added, along with a plains variant dedicated to housing sunflowers! Colors of tulips have been added, and the rose has been replaced with poppies. Also, 2-block-tall grass and flowers are added. Lastly, we have the new items. Fish! salmon, pufferfish, and clownfish have been added. Also, you can enchant a fishing rod with Lure (quicker process) and Luck of the Sea (more chance of catching treasure, not junk). Speaking of which,you can now catch items, like glass bottles, sticks, glass bottles, and other trash. But, you can also get bottles of enchanting and other rare, hard-to-get items. Oh! How could I forget: STAINED GLASS. By far, my favorite part of the update. You can color glass. FINALLY. Totally making my windows green.
