Yes, Redstone. Technically, I'm not genuinely great at this topic, but this is because redstone is one complicated topic ingame. I mean, do you know how complicated it is to make a 3x3 piston door? Unless you are really good with Redstone, you would answer "Very complicated!". This is why I would like to make the Redstone simpler ingame to help those who generally are... not as skilled with Redstone (trying to be polite here). Maybe there should be new blocks such as computers and HUBs that can act as redstone torches and remote devices and GPS (Global Positioning System for those who don't know what it stands for) systems? Have your say!

Also, the commands featured on the Command blocks are generally hard to remember and are complicated. Do you agree with this? The wiki's list of commands are not too helpful (no offense Minecraft Wiki) and that is one of the only ways to refer to the commands. I think that, for commands, when it is a "give" command, to use the item name instead of the item's identity. So if I wanted, say 1 stone block, I would type in: "give *char name* 1 stone" instead of typing in "give *char name* 1 1 (first number is identity and second number is quantity). I would also place the quantity before the block name instead, as shown in the example above. They should also have a list of commands under the text box instead of the @p - target nearest player @r - target random player @a - target all players to make it easier to find the commands.

New redstone ideas are:
  • Maybe add a new redstone-related block, such as a computer or a hub (actions listed in video)
  • Add a redstone torch-like BLOCK, not entity (that, I think, is what a torch is), that can be placed next to redstone and power it instead of using redstone torches
  • Make it so that the redstone doesn't have to be pointing directly at a piston or block to power it (for certain blocks - list mentioned below)
  • Add a block that can be powered with redstone not pointing directly at it - maybe call it a transmitter?
  • Fix pistons so that the redstone doesn't have to be at the same height as the piston, just the height of the block the piston was placed on

Pros:
  • Makes redstone easier for you
  • Makes commands easier
  • No need to memorize commands or refer to the Wiki, now with a new list.
  • New blocks can help you, like how the HUB is like a GPS and map and a Computer that is.. well... a computer?
  • Now certain blocks like metal blocks (iron, gold) can be powered indirectly and works like normal metals, now powering other METAL blocks next to or diagonally across from it (1 block radius). Also, with new redstone block that can be activated by walking on it. Acts like a pressure plate, decoration block and a redstone torch at the same time (1 min of power emitted)

Cons:
  • Redstone currently may be good enough already for the pros.
  • You may accidentally be using metal blocks in a random redstone contraption, so it may not work properly.

New command ideas are:
  • Fix the area under the text box to a list of commands
  • Change the identity number to the name of the block (Blocks with more than 2 words in it are typed in as 1 word, like "stonebrick" or "lapislazuliore"
  • Edit the order of what is typed (mentioned in 2nd paragraph)

Video:

(sorry the video says that HUBs are forcefield blocks. They are actually GPS devices unless i want it to be a forcefield, which would make the game unfair. Sorry.)

To me..... Redstone is not incredibly hard, like I can make 3x3 doors, it's just that I find it hard to compact a circuit

I used to be a beginner as well, but then I started to make basics like 2x2 piston doors. If you start off by making them then you can advance from that and become really good
