Honestly, as a Server Admin I haven't found a better plug to use on a Bukkit server.
However, a number of the committed users on our server are either finding hacks or clients, or coding clients themselves, built specifically to get around NoCheat.
If you don't know what NoCheat is, and you're not a cheater, NoCheat is a plugin that assists in preventing certain types of cheating, such as super-mining, flying, speedhacking, and nofall hacks. If you are a cheater, NoCheat is that plugin that makes you lag back to where you were supposed to be every time you tried to fly or speedhack. :D
NoCheat does work brilliantly, however, as I mentioned there are hacks built to get around it, and a few of the users on our server are showing me how well they work(one nofall hack lets him fly, or more... lets him float gently to the ground, only to die of "hit the ground too hard" once he touches the ground.
By no means, I'm not intending to make other server admins nervous or cheer up some cheaters reading this, I totally endorse the use of NoCheat, in fact, I recommend any Public Bukkit Minecraft server active right now SHOULD use it. ACF(AdminsCanFly) and CFBanner just doesn't cut the mustard, and they conflict with other plugins sometimes and stop working.

I do wanna recap that NoCheat is fantastic. Never really found any real problems with it, and I've always liked how you can tune it to your liking.
And the developer is a real cool guy, he's constantly posting on peoples topics on HackForums, thanking them for the hacks that he will patch within an hour of them becoming public.
EvenPrime, the developer of NoCheat is also a member on HackForums, he browses the members of that sites topics, and keeps up to date with the latest hacks, to ensure his plugin is constantly battling hacked clients.
Not a single member of HackForums has yet developed a workaround, I am always browsing that site so I know exactly how to protect my server, and what we are up against.
If you take the time to correctly set up NoCheat, you will NEVER have any issues with hackers.
