Ever wanted quicksand in Minecraft? Well to do this, you need a command block, a shovel, any amount of grass blocks, cobwebs and lava. Keep reading for notes at the bottom and how to get the command block.

1. Dig a 3 by 3 hole and make it 10 blocks deep.

2. Put lava all the way at the bottom.

3. Put cobwebs on the second top layer.

4. Put grass blocks on top of the cobwebs

5. Hold the shovel and right click the area you put the grass.

6. Put the command block a few blocks away the quicksand.

7. Type this in the block: execute @a ~ ~ ~ detect ~ ~-2 ~ web -1 tp @p ~ ~-.1 ~

8. Click on the buttons at the bottom until it says: Repeat, Unconditional, Always active.

9. Enjoy your quicksand trap!

Notes: This doesn't work on mobs. To get the command block, press / on your key board while in your game and type: give @p command_block. The reason you put lava is because you don't die with the grass path. Credit to: The Red Engineer!
