First Impressions:
When you first log in, you find a nice looking hub with multiple game modes and easy-to-read boards describing how the server/game mode is played. Game modes include:Survival, Freebuild, DayZ (MineZ), Blizzard Ball, and a upcoming Build-My-Thing.
Rules:
Although their is a long list of rules on most of the servers, most of them are understandable and fit under the category "Common Sense" This said, if you use common sense and are not a douche to anyone, you should get along great on the servers.
Staff:
The staff on this network are great. The owner has years of computer-based experience and Minecraft-based-experience. He also makes custom plugins to generate better game-play and allow for a higher degree of moderation. While we're on the topic of Moderation, the Moderators are great. Most of which have literally years of experience. They welcome new players commonly and are friendly to all.
Website:
The website is nice looking and easily maneuverable, providing useful information just a few clicks away. On a downside the forums could be a bit more active but nevertheless it will do just fine. Other website features include: Voting, shop, members/staff page, multiple live maps, events, and a photo gallery.
Grief-Prevention:
Another very strong suit for this server is grief prevention. They have traditional plugins for griefing such as Logblock and Modreq (ReportRTS). But also have a custom "NaughtyMonkey" plugin that allows the looking up for players alternate accounts, and ensures no players are banned unjustly.
Ban Reports & Appeals:
I have only seen this feature on 1 other server and they definitely did not do it as well. Every time a player is banned they receive a ban report by the staff member who banned them with proof, dates, reasons, and players involved. It is a very thorough system.
Donations:
A nice variety of packages including Iconomy money, pets, and McMmo levels. The ranks include a bunch of cool perks at a good price. On the downside, they only last 3 months (90 days.) A suggestion from me personally would be to add a optional price to the rank and make it last longer or forever.
Servers:
Survival:
A nice ordinary survival for the average Minecraft players. On top of that their's a mall to buy a shop in, a horse derby, spawn plots to build on, and biome warps to get to your favorite biomes.
Freebuild:
Not to be mistaken for creative, the freebuild allows for easier building with a cheap shop, local warps, fly for everyone, and griefing to a minimum.
Blizzard Ball:
Not very active server but when you do gather a few friends on you can enjoy multiple arenas of a simple game, throw snowballs under your enemies trying to drop them to their death.
DayZ:
Survive and thrive in this post-apocalyptic town. Choose your friends, raid homes, camp out the night, and enjoy several more survival aspects of Minecraft such as thirst, wounds, and disease.
Overall Server Review:
Very nice! If you're escaping a server a with tyrannical admins here's a place to refugee. You won't be accused unless you did something against the rules and you will be welcomed with open arms.
Pros:
- Very fair and justifying.
- Admins have YT channels.
- Easy to communicate with the staff.
- Players are super nice.
- Rules are easy to follow.
- Multiple game modes.
- Custom plugins.
Cons:
- Server is active but for such a amazing server I would expect a bit more players.
- Same goes for the forums.
