Hello Steve fans! Sorry I didn't get a journal out yesterday. Our internet was down and I couldn't get on.

Last time on Steve's Adventure we witnessed the battle that took place. Today Steve begins his training!

Day 4:

Hello journal. Today I woke up in a sweat. Nightmares of the battle are still rummaging around in my head. I don't understand what happened. I am bleeding everywhere! Yet, still, the Army General is making me train. I gather today we are going mining. I lost all my tools in the battle.

"Kid wake up! We don't got all day." That voice wasn't the general. It seemed like my uncle from Brooklyn. That accent reminded me of more then it needed too.
"I'm sorry, I'm still shell-shocked from the bat-"
"I don't care. You got yo ma's life on this one kid."

Immediately we went straight to a cave. By the looks of the signs it was called 'Mount Ender'. What kind of name is 'Mount Ender'?

After a few hours of mining we found another ravine.
"I know how to mine."
"Ya think I care?"
"Do you really have to tea-"
"Look kid! We are going to be together for a year. So get a grip and SHUT UP!" I was shocked! I had never been spoke to like that before.

For the rest of the mining experience we mined in silence. I tried to sneak away a couple of times but somehow he seemed to notice. He always had the same answer "Where ya goin' hot shot?"

Finally after about 12 hours of mining we found an ore. It was just iron but I was excited.

"Kid come yoself, it's just iron."
"Yes but it's my iron."
"We need to go deepa!"
"Can't we go back for lunch?"
"Nope."

At about 7:00 he decided it was time to go back. That took us another hour and I was STARVING! We went to the bakery and bought some bread. I made a nice pastrami sandwich.
