A New King
Finally after the first major victory for the mobs, Giol and Etumal came home from the battle. A party was held at the palace for all of Colako s friends and family, centered around a massive banquet. Even Herobrine was invited.
After the party, Colak and Giol, still in diamond battle armour, went out on the balcony overlooking the mountains and the sunset.
o Giol, Io m proud of you.o said Colak, gazing fondly out at the scene, a smile playing across his face. o Youo ve come so far from the little boy you used to be.o
o I have you to thank for most of that.o replied Giol, completely without expression, in stark opposition to his fathero s expression and tone.
o Son, I can see that youo ve outgrown both your princely throne and crown. Ito s time for you to take mine.o
Giol turned his head towards with father, wide eyed. o Youo re not dying, are you?o
Colak turned to face Giol. o No, nothing of the sort! I just think that youo re ready. We can have the ceremony whenever you wish.o
o Father, I was thinking. Perhaps each king could chose their own valuable resource for their crown and armour, representing what they wish to do during their time. If I may, I would like to chose Diamond.o
o I think thato s a splendid idea Giol. Your new crown will be ready for your coronation. I will make the announcement tomorrow morning.o
The next few days the castle was a hub of activity as preparations were made. The balcony facing the square had to be decorated, the crown and armour prepared, a preist chosen. Then finally the day arrived. Colak arrived on the balcony, crownless for the first time since the mines, and then out stepped Giol, new Kingly armour shining (as opposed to Colako s deep purple robes). The priest of Herobrine followed, and opened his Herobrinian book of worship.
He began reading out Giolo s duties to his people, and to Herobrine. Giol vowed to do them, then the priest grabbed the new Diamond crown and placed it on Giolo s head.
Giol was king.
