The Tales of Besta Morousa!


The wolf that needed a friend



Buck was sneaking around his garden hungrily, hoping to gnaw a chicken in his canine teeth. Fortunately, an adult chicken jumped out of a nearby bush, and Buck noticed it at once. "Good little chicken. Yes. That's right, walk towards me." He whispered, eyes narrowing on every word. The chicken was slowly pecking away at the grass, testing to see if it tasted better in this particular spot. Apparently not, for the chicken turned around and started flapping towards a pond. Buck pounced, and at once the chicken was running away without looking back. Buck wasn't allowed to leave his home.

Looking very dissapointed, Buck trotted inside his burrow. *Gasp* On the dining table was about ten plates filled with chicken on them. You couldn't even see the silver metal of them! How did mum make all this? Buck thought. How did she get all the plates? Buck noticed a note on the largest chicken. He picked it up with his mouth, dropped it on the floor and read it. It said:

Sorry Buck, but we had to leave! We are finding us a home because your old enough now and you need your own space! We left you your favourite beard shavers, ten plates full of chicken and all your chicken-eating contest rewards. Also, you might want to watch your back....

Just as Buck finshed he quickly spun his head around and saw the thing he feared most.................a creeper. The creeper was furious that he didn't get a hug from Buck so he grew large, turned pale and.......*BOOM*.....exploded Buck, his house, and all the things in it!


Buck was so furious at the creeper that all the way from his spawn point to his house he killed every single creeper in sight, making his eyes go red with fiery and open his jaws wide. But, when he got back, there was something a bit strange, a note lay on the floor. It said:

Haha! Tricked you! Your mum and dad died long ago. We killed them, with a sword and a bow! We had reinforcements wearing costumes pretending to be them! Betcha can't trust anyone now!

Buck read the note over and over again. A tear filled his eyes, rolled down his furry cheek, and splashed onto the piece of paper, leaving a wet splodge in the middle. He dropped the note on the dusty ground and looked around him. What if they're watching me? Thought Buck. What if they are about to jump out and kill me? Then suddenly, there was a ruffle in the bushes. Buck barked at it, and started to walk backwards. The bush was shaking very fast now. Something was gonna come kill Buck! Then, there was silence and a wolf about Buck's size emerged from the bushes, except the wolf wore a bow. "Oo! Hello! I'm Bella! And you are?" She said. "B-Buck," He said, feeling shy. Bella walked towards him and lay her paw on Buck. The moment she touched him, there was a swelling in Buck's heart. "Wanna be friends?" Asked Buck.
