Hello! This is Smog (and Mayo c:) with a Server Review. Today I'll be telling you about Tokyo Ghoul RPGs, the first Tokyo Ghoul server ever made in Minecraft. Yes, this was before omcolorful's Tokyo Ghoul server; in fact, a lot of the ideas from omcolorful come from this server!
When I first logged onto this server about four months ago, I wasn't sure what to expect. I had just finished watching the Tokyo Ghoul anime, and man. I loved it. I'd found a bunch of Tokyo Ghoul skins on here by Necro34, and I was just like "Woah. These are freakin' awesome." Then I saw that he'd made my dream server.

I hastily copied down the IP adress and put it into my Direct Connect box.
F34RTEHR34PER has joined the game.
And so I looked around the spawn. It was pretty awesome. I saw the staff list that said "_KenKaneki" on it and I knew that was Necro's IGN. I couldn't wait.
I walked to the sign that said "Begin" or something like that. I clicked it and obviously chose Ghoul. I chose Ukaku for the kagune type, as did my sister. We walked out and called ourselfs Kai and Tsuki. Twins hehe.
We went to Tokyo.
We spawned in an airport. We started walking along the road and soon we saw something that we didn't expect.
Ken. Freaking. Kaneki.
Of course, being the otakus we were, we began fangirling. Then we realized "Oh crap. That's white hair. OH CRAP." So we left the area.
We got into an alley and were attacked. Me and Aerilaya were prepared to use our kagune, but suddenly we saw someone in the local chat say "STOP!" It was Kaneki, and he had come to save us.
After a while, our OCs died and me and my sister applied for Kuro and Shiro. We got them and had a lot of fun as them.
It wasn't because of the RPs that we had fun. It was because of the community.
The playerbase of Tokyo Ghoul RPGs is one of the nicest I've ever seen. They all welcome you cheerfully. There isn't a ton of arguing. There's no grief. There are so many friendships forming all over the place whether it's in RP or out of RP. Everyone is just so nice and kind and loving there.
I became really good friends with all the people on there. All of them. They accepted me for who I was and no one had really done it before.
Even though the server is extremely close to shutting down, it's still going to be etched into my heart and soul forever.
So look. Even if you aren't into RolePlaying, or not even into Tokyo Ghoul, but are just looking for an awesome place with amazing people, I suggest you come to Tokyo Ghoul RPGs. You'll never regret it.
