You find yourself on a boat
Drifting through the vast ocean
You feel the crisp air on your skin,
You hear the wind and crashing waves.
The air is salty,
Tinged with just a hint of seaweed.
Despite the foggy mist,
You feel the subtle warmth of the sun's rays,
On your skin.
As you look to the distance,
You find the horizon is hidden.
Monochrome clouds,
Blend the distinction between sea and sky.
Sit for a moment,
Savor the austere beauty.
Now let me ask you a question,
Where is this sea?
You may make a guess,
Perhaps it's Alaska,
Or Antarctica,
But,
None is the correct answer.
The sea is not a physical place,
There is no water at all.
This expanse of ocean exists only in your mind.
