Re: "don't start an argument," you don't get to drop the line and just walk away. Don't shy away from it! If not an argument, then a discussion, at least, is merited.

"Everything" is a bit of a stretch. There are more gay superheroes and villains in publication now, sure, but it's more representative of the real-world population at large. Everyone deserves to be able to see themselves as a superhero!

I would add as well that I suspect you haven't heard of the majority of the characters in this collection. That's not meant to be a dig at you, but rather to emphasize that these are (mostly) obscure comicbook characters, which means it's not like DC or Marvel is making their main characters gay or anything.

So, I guess in response to your original comment, "superheroes even?" I'd say "hell yeah!"
