Since my 4 hour written feedback post was deleted from minecraft, I decided to take matters into my own hands.
Tired of using just swords? Want to play survival with only bows? Want to choose a different playstyle, like something from RPGs? This datapack lets you do that.
This datapack makes it easier for you to craft arrows without constantly running out.
Features :
- Craft arrows with
Flint / Iron ingot / Bone / Quartz / Obsidian +
Stick +
Feather / Leaves / String
- Crafting with feather gives you 4 arrows
- Crafting with string gives you 3 arrows (v1.1)
- Crafting with leaves gives you 2 arrows
- Crafting with obsidian (v1.1) gives you 32 arrows
- Smelt gravel into flint with furnace and blast furnace
Troubleshooting:
If the datapack doesn't work, do
/datapack disable "file/better-arrows.zip"
/datapack enable "file/better-arrows.zip" last
To get them in your recipe book, do
/recipe give @a minecraft:arrow
/recipe give @a minecraft:arrow_string
/recipe give @a minecraft:arrow_leaves
/recipe give @a minecraft:arrow_obsidian

You may use, modify, distribute and include in other projects at will without credit.
