Winter Wonderland Datapack
This datapack adds Christmas and Winter themed Structures, Items, Blocks, and Mobs to your world!
Other notes:
*In order to get peppermint leaves from ferns, you must be in survival mode.
*You can open a menu to get all items/mobs with “/function winter:menu”
*This pack contains Custom Structures, which is labeled as an experimental feature. You must create a new world and upload the datapack in the world creation process.
*Before using this pack and posting it publicly, please include a link to my work directly to this page. Thank you!

Structures
Currently, the only structure in this datapack is the Christmas Cabin.
The Christmas Cabin has a 50% chance to spawn with a red roof, or a green roof. Inside the Christmas Cabin, you can find three elves to help you with your crafting of Christmas blocks, and you can also find three penguins wandering outside!

Items
Candy Cane
The Candy Cane is an item that can be eaten, but is mostly used for crafting.
To craft the Candy Cane, you need: 1 Peppermint Leaf, 1 Red Dye, 1 Sugar, and 1 White Dye. Throw all of the ingredients into a cauldron with a campfire underneath to make 8 Candy Canes.

Peppermint Leaf
Peppermint Leaves are used to make Candy Canes. To obtain a Peppermint Leaf, simply destroy some ferns.
Lump of Coal
The Lump of Coal is a possible drop from a present, and is used to summon the Evil Snowman.
Christmas Cannon
The Christmas Cannon is a drop from the Evil Snowman.
The Christmas Cannon consumes presents in your inventory, and shoots them out to deal damage to nearby mobs.

Blocks
Presents
There are three kinds of presents. A red present, green present, and a pink present.
To make a present, you need an elf's help with the crafting. Give an elf an amethyst shard, a candy cane, a chest, and the color of wool you want your present to be, and he will give you a present!
You can place down the presents, and then break them to give you a random gift!

Snow Machine
Snow Machines are blocks that can create artificial snow.
To make a snow machine, you need an elf's help with the crafting. Give an elf 1 smooth stone, 1 redstone lamp, 1 powder snow bucket, and 1 candy cane.
Snow Machines can be powered with any redstone current.

Mobs
Penguin
Penguins can be found in Glacier biomes, as well as outside Christmas Cabins. Killing a Penguin will drop Salmon.
Elf
Elves will spawn inside Christmas Cabins, and they will help you with special Christmas crafting, for the price of a Candy Cane.
Evil Snowman
The Evil Snowman is a Boss which is summoned by throwing a "Lump of Coal" onto a snow golem. The Evil Snowman has 4 special attacks: The Flurry, Minions, Snowball, and Presents.
The Flurry will blind you with a blizzard as the Evil Snowman chases you down with invincibility.
The Minions can be spawned onto nearby players in groups of 5.
The Snowball will give you a warning by showing particles above the Snowman's head, and then he will cast out 8 damaging snowballs.
And finally, he can shoot out 4 explosive presents. Going near the presents will cause them to explode. You can disarm presents by throwing snowballs at them.
Killing the Evil Snowman will cause him to drop the Christmas Cannon.
