Ok so I have been working on a project lately. In 1.7.3 the biome that it was in was a lush grassland and made everything looks so "alive" when the 1.8 update came it changed the biome to a desert. It is still has all the terrain of a grassland but the grass and all the trees look dead! Anybody know how I could change it back to a lush biome?

Me and a friend have been working on a city since I think it was 1.7.3 but now when it is 1.0.0 it has changed to a snow biome. I have been thinking of moving it all with mcedit but not sure. What do you think I should do?

hhhmm...to me the biomes look good and snow biomes are supposed to be re-added in 1.9.
Doesnt look like a desert to me.
And the grass is the same as it was in 1.7.3

As far as I know the biome is semi permanent unless I guess you use mcedit or the like on your map on the location of the project.

If you are talking about the color of the grass/leaves, there are image files in the misc folder that deal with grass/leaf/and water biomes.

I'd like it so that when people download my map they won't have to screw around with the misc files.
