Gen 1 and squirtle :)

probably generation 7 is my favorite. im not really old, so i grew up with gen 5-7. generation 6 (xy) is probably the most nostalgic for me. i loved it, gave up so much time for it, and i get sick to my stomach (In a good way lol) whenever i want to pick it up again. I like generation 5 because it felt very aesthetic, although i haven't played it much. generation 7 is probably my favorite, and i know that gen 8 is not out, but im not a fan since i dont have a switch, and i dont want to get myself attached to something ill never touch. im sorry, im not a big fan of the old pokemon games. the newer ones have so much more to them, and whenever i play the old ones, it feels repetitive and boring.

Gen 5 is probably my favorite because they're the games I put the most amount of time into, but I love every gen (except gen 6, the game felt very rushed to me). But if we're going off of nostalgia, gens 2 and 3 are my favorite.
Gen 8 looks very interesting though; I have my fingers crossed that it's good!
