Welcome to the Megaverse!



The word "megaverse" refers to a higher-order universe that contains an infinite number of pocket universes. In this context, this subreddit is the 'megaverse' which contains windows (posts) into your singleplayer maps (pocket universes).



We are a group of Minecraft players who enjoy the single player experience. We all play in single player, but on the same seed! This means there are potentially limitless parallel universes to ours and this subreddit is where we share those universes.



The Season 1 Map starts spawns in a river/plains/mountain biome. Each two weeks we will post a new Build Challenge and vote for winners. Challenges are not mandatory, just for fun!



How to Join



Post an introduction in this subreddit. This must include:

• 
  A little about who you are IRL
  
• 
  What your map gamemode and difficulty will be (this will be your user flair)
  
• 
  What game rules you will be using
  
• 
  What datapacks or modpacks you will be using
  
• 
  What you enjoy doing in Minecraft
  
• 
  You must agree to the rules in your introduction (read below).
  
• 
  Be a minimum of 7 sentences
  

Once you've read the rules and posted your introduction, you will be PMed our Season 1 seed!



How to Play



Create a new Minecraft world with the seed we PM you. Here are the specifications of the world:

Open Minecraft > "Play" button > "Singleplayer" button > "Create New World" Button

Gamemode & Difficulty: (You choose your own, just make sure to flair yourself what difficulty you're playing)

Allow Cheats: Off

Generate Structures: On

Bonus Chest: Off

World Type: Default

Rules



Adhere to the simple posting rules of the subreddit.

1. 
   No server hosting; LAN or Private Realm for friends is acceptable. Try to keep player count to a minimum, the goal is to experience a singleplayer world.
   
2. 
   Flair yourself with your chosen gamemode & difficulty; try not to change these once your map is created.
   
3. 
   Spoilers are coords, directions, or otherwise unknown info on whereabouts of dungeons, treasure, strongholds, nether fortresses, or biomes.
   
   1. 
      Spoilers must be flaired & formatted properly.
      
   2. 
      No spoilers in titles.
      
   3. 
      Comments containing spoilers must use Reddit's spoiler formatting.
      
   4. 
      Multiple spoilers posted for the sake of spoiling will not be tolerated. Do not join and then post spoilers in a row. This is not a race.

   Resource packs and shaders that you use must be in your post's comments.
   
5. 
   Be nice. No explicit or hateful content. No advertisements or spamming. (See sidebar for details)
