We are PentCraft. A new user's goal on this server would be to reach the top. To be the very best, gotta buy them all (*pokemon reference*). Not only that, they need to get filthy rich! Why do they need money? Well, they need money to buy rooms in a massive hotel.
This hotel consists of 30 floors, and one large penthouse. An average players goals are to log into the server, and buy a room on the first of those floors. Afterwards, they go do regular server stuff, like anti-grief survival, or the well-known hunger games/capture the flag minigames. Doing all of those regular server activities will result in the user/player earning more money (selling survival resources to the shop, or winning the minigames). This money will allow them to buy a room on the next floor of the hotel, advancing them one step closer to the top - the Penthouse.
Whoever gets to the penthouse first, will receive a massive (unplanned at the moment) reward. This could be, but not limited to being, god armor, donor ranks, or even a world of their own for a limited time.
As stated above, this server, and it's goal is a never-been-done-before idea. We plan on using that advantage to gain players, and eventually be one of the top servers.
What we, at PentCraft, are contacting the community about:
We need top-quality builders to help us accomplish building some of the biggest hotels, or set of hotels, so that we can put our goals into action. What we need a builder to be:
1) Good building skills. You can build on your own, without needing a person to hold your hand (do not need direction nor something to copy). A.K.A. Good and Original
2) Respects a superiors decisions and orders.
3) Must be of 14 years of age or older to be a builder, and then possibly a staff member later on.
4) MUST have past building experience, and proof of that experience. EX: A server you have built on, or a build that you have been given credit in helping.
5) Must be a mature person. Does not mean no joking, but means that focused on task the whole way through. Not following this rule will result in a removal of the builder position.
6) We do not need redstoners. Even if you are a redstoner, we do not need to know. That skill will most likely not become useful to PentCraft during the building phase.
7) Must be able to build at least 4 hours a day, 3-7 days per week. (You just need to be an active member. More activity leads to more building, etc. The harder a builder works, the more likely he/she/it will be picked for a staffing position).
8) Does not take advantage of their staff position (refers to when we go public). You will not abuse the staff commands/ranks to obtain anything desired. Will be discussed in further conversations.
9) No hacked clients (EX: Nodus). Results can go as far as removal from staff/builder - and a ban to the server when public.
10) Dedicated to the server. This is almost like an unpaid job. This ties into #7.
11) Do not speak for a friend as far as staffing goes. If they wish to help build, or later on, be an admin/mod - that person must contact me on their own.
12) MUST have a working mic, and a Skype account.
Notice: Removal from builder position lowers the chances of becoming a staff in the future.
