The Kingdom of Kvenland is a nation situated currently in Northern Europe and is relatively new like the server it operates on.The Kingdom and its community is quite old and has experiences several other nations and factions on other servers, making it rather unique and a loyal community. Currently it is focused on expanding its influence in Northern Europe and on the Baltic Sea coast with castles ruled by knights or as they are locally known, by Freiherrs. These regions may later turn into larger regions known as Läns or even into Duchies, governed by a Duke.The government of the Kingdom, or the Royal Diet is comprised of the nobility which in turn means that the King, Dukes, Jarls and Freiherrs discuss every three weeks of the state of the kingdom and its various regions as well as how to develop the nation as a whole.As tradition goes, the King of Kvenland who is currently King Augvald the 1st, enforces a law known as the Wyvernian Noble's Rights, which grants extensive autonomy to local nobility to better rule the kingdom with efficiency as local people know more about local matters.The Kingdom or "clan" is about forming a strong nation in three aspects which are:I. A Strong Society (People feel united under the Crown to face anyone who would try to cause harm to them.)II. A Strong Economy (A strong economy ensures a prosperous nation and thus maintaining that through just and efficient economic policies is important.)III. A Strong Military (The Kvenish army is modeled after the Wyvernian Army Reform II which means that its divided into three classes. Officers who lead the battles and the troops, Huskarles which are the elite troops sponsored and equipped by the Crown and lastly the Men-At-Arms who arm themselves and serve under their local nobles. Its always been important for a state to be able to protect itself and thus Kvenland will be no exception.)

Our Laws/Rules

I. We ask you to be loyal to the kingdom.II. Do not steal from/kill or otherwise harm members of the Kingdom.III. Have fun and act in a mature fashion to ensure everybody has fun!

RanksThe KingThe ruler of all Kvenland. Although technically has total control of the Kingdom, the King is obliged to consult with the Nobles as well as with the rest of the population to act in their best interest.

The DukesDukes act as governors of large regions which are comprised of more than one Län governed by a Jarl. The Dukes are second in command in the Kingdom and are generals of their Ducal Armies under the King's and the Lord-Commander's supervision.

The JarlsJarls are responsible of governing areas known as Läns, which are in turn comprised of more than one estate governed by a Freiherr, Huskarle or by a Merchant.

The FreiherrsThe Freiherrs are somewhat like knights as they are allowed to own an estate/outpost of a town and govern it in stead of the local Jarl or Duke.

Lord-Commander and Lord-Admiral
The Lord-Commander and Lord-Admiral are responsible of commanding troops and fleets respectively. The Lord-Commander is the commander of the Royal Army and Dukes act as generals under the authority of the Commander. The Lord-Admiral in turn is the commander of the Royal Navy.

The Huskarles
The Huskarles as stated before, are the very best warriors that the Kingdom can offer. Armed and sponsored by the Crown, they are responsible for being a quickly deployable and hard hitting force on any battlefield near the Kingdom's borders. Huskarles are expected to be good PvPers, loyal and determined soldiers!

The MerchantsMerchants as the name would state are people who are considered efficient and skilled traders and thus are allowed to gain monetary support from the Crown and from local nobles. Trade operations of the merchants are supported and protected by the Crown and/or local nobles abroad.

Man-At-Arms
The Men-At-Arms are the infantry and back bone of all armies in the Kingdom. Although they arm themselves usually, they are eligible to get support in that regard from the local nobles and from the Crown. Men-At-Arms are under the command of their local nobles and thus under the command of the Lord-Commander.

KvenlandianSome could say that the rank of a Kvenlandian is the most important rank of all. Its the rank of every member who is deemed loyal and suitable.
