Today I was in my Creative and College Writing english class and it was raining, so the teacher in spite of the mood outside decided to let out minds roam wild whilst creating a 10+ lined poem about the rain relating to the 5 senses of humans, sight sound, touch, taste, smell. I wrote this in 5-10 minutes, and polished it up soon afterwards, but I want to know what the community think of it

"As they Fall" A Poem By Daniel Kessler

A cloudy haze fell upon the sky,
Amusing critters and passers by.
Specks of water falling like snow,
Condense a while, and away they go.
Pit-pat patters fall along with the breeze,
Echoing upon leaves, small shrubs and the trees.
The smell of the Lilac follows as the Rain hits the ground,
Spreading the sweet, smell of perfume all around.
Dancing, the Rain, outside, it appears,
Struck by the joy, and stricken with tears.
As the Rain falls and falls, music is made,
Songs without pattern, on paper sheets they are lain.
Fall as they fall, over here, over there,
One quickly comes to realize that is falls most everywhere.
A peaceful, serene location at its best,
Allows one to sleep quietly and resume to their rest.
But Nature, it passes the passers by,
As Rain bellows out of the dark, cloudy sky.
And me? Well its simple opinion you see,
For I enjoy Nature, and all it is, and may be.
