Hate Maths? Me too, however although i hate it i am good at it, and for a certain period of time i've been burning off brain cells trying to figure out one problem many Servers have when creating their shops. If there is a certain number of certain ore for a certain price, how do we work out the correct price for a certain amount of blocks of that ore?

I have decided that i would create an Equation because there are surely many Server owners that are trying to do the same thing but fail.

I will list the equation and then an example under it just to make it more clear.

Equation;
c divide by i = d
d times 9 = e
e times b = (FINAL COST)

Key;
c = Cost of Ore
i = Amount of Ore
9 = Ores in one Ore Block
b = Amount of ore Blocks

Example:

8 Coal costs $150 , how much would 8 blocks of coal cost?

150 divide by 8 = 18.75

18.75 times 9 = 168.75

168.75 times 8 = 1350

This means 8 Blocks of Coal would cost $1350

You can interpret this equation however you want by changing numbers or even items. It is actually possible to do this with Golden apples and Enchanted golden apples, however it is a lot trickier and would require few more steps.

If a lot of people ask for 'how to do this with Golden apples' then i will happily show you.
