Minecraft Wont Load?

I haven't played Minecraft for a week, and when I came back to play it today, when I press 'play', the green bar loads to the end but then nothing happens, and the 'play' button goes back to its clickable state.
Notes: playing Minecraft 1.6.4 with Pixelmon.

Might be the forge problem. I once had this and I went to development console and it said that it couldn't download a thing so I manually did it and still doesn't work then I reinstalled forge and that worked.
It was random at times I had to reinstall forge. When this happened I was playing 1.6.4 mods with forge

Try reinstalling the game. If that dosent work, clear your .minecraft. (Be sure to back up saves first!)

I changed my game to a vanilla 1.7.2, and that seems to be loading just fine.
Perhaps 1.6.4 is just having some temporary problems?
