Tips/Tricks for keys & organising
So recently I just changed from MC PE/Bedrock to Java & I’m still figuring things out like my keys for shifting & such.
also I see people switching items pretty easy but what keys does that? Or like equipping armour without dragging it to ur slot, etc.
thanks for reading this & the future responses
it’s kinda like a recommendation too

right-clicking while holding armor in the hotbar will equip it if you are not wearing any in that slot.
shift-clicking in inventory quick-equips or quick-moves
right-click to take half or put down 1
middle-click (in creative) to copy an item and put a full stack into your hand
Triple-clicking an item in your inventory automatically merges any matching items into the stack.
Pressing the number key for a hotbar slot while hovering over an item swaps that item with the item in that slot.
You can pick-block (put block you are looking at in your hand, must have it in inventory to do in survival) with middle-click. You can hold ctrl while doing this (in creative) to save a block's NBT like the contents of a chest. When you place the block, it has the same contents as the original.
Ctrl+q drops the whole stack instead of one item at a time.
