Hi I'm Luke, I've created a Minecraft Therapy Server called Legend Land with some amazing developers and we are looking to hire psychologists within Australia.
Our Minecraft Therapy server to solve the problem of engaging children online and allows us to reach clients across Australia. I am looking for registered psychologists in Australia who have experience playing Minecraft, preferably also with experience working with Autism Spectrum Conditions.
Candidates must live in Australia and have full AHPRA registration.
Remuneration ranges from $90 to $120 per hour depending on experience.
Sessions involve an audio and visual connection via Zoom while the client and therapists’ characters are in the Legend Land interacting with each other. This allows the therapist to effectively engage with children via telehealth and remove the barriers of geographic region, mobility, refusing to engage in typical approaches to therapy and sensory and emotional barriers to leaving the home.
The response to Legend Land has been incredible and we are hiring additional psychologists to meet the demand. Legend Land is designed to be fun, flexible and easy to use and successful psychologists will receive training and a user guide for Legend Land.

We have two positions available for Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychologist Registrars or Registered Psychologists. These positions are offered at competitive subcontractor rates with flexible working arrangements. The successful applicant will work from home and flexibility with work times. Preference will be given to candidates who can work outside of school hours such as afternoons/evenings or on weekends. Candidates are required to work a minimum 2 days per week with the preference of full time.

Skills and Qualifications
- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
- Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology is highlight regarded.
- Hold or be eligible for registration with Medicare.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of neurodevelopmental disorders and common psychological presentations.
- Passion for working with individuals with a variety of presentations including disabilities.
- Experience in supporting and treating individuals with Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
- Have (or willing to get) professional indemnity, public liability insurance and an Australian Business Number.
- Access to a computer with a webcam, microphone, and have an appropriate workspace at home.
- Experience in (or desire to learn about) video games, particularly Minecraft or games played on computer.
- Experience in or desire to learn telehealth.
