So I built a nether portal at Y 45 that took me way down to -21. I destroyed that and put a portal up quite a bit in my tower and now it took me to 0. Well, I dont want to be underground. Is there a way I can slowly make the portal spawn closer to the surface? Or do I have to build the nether portal in the nether way way up? Or would it be smarter to destroy the one in the overworld and build new one further up? I want the portal in the nether to be in the same spot.
