So I was playing with my brother when a spider went semitransparent.
Do you know why this happened?

Edit: Then more mobs started going semitransparent.

Well they disappeared right after a invisible spider spawned.

What exactly do you mean by semitransparent?

I know that spiders go invisible except for their eyes if they get the invisibilty potion effect.
Other mobs don't do this and just go fully invisible (or transparent?) as far as I know.
If this isn't it, do you have any texturepacks? It might be the texturepack.

I hope it helped.

I don't use recoursepacks much. (unless I'm playing a map that requires it)
I could see inside of the mob's limbs. (but it wasn't only spiders, it was skeletons too)

Highly doubt Mojang would make limbs and stuff for the mobs if you can't see thru them, All I know right now, is that right when I read "mob's limbs", knew it was fake.

what they mean is that the actual texture itself is semitransparent, so that u can almost see through limbs, and u can see the texture on the other side of the limb. at least thats what i think they mean
