It is possible using structure blocks, but trust me. Use mcedit. It's simple, easy, fast (usually), and trustworthy.

Well, for starters, you can only do that if you have bungeecord which is a plugin for Minecraft server's to connect various worlds. Yes, using this plugin you can do so. But if you are doing this is a regular single player world, then sorry to say so but no.

It is possible in singleplayer with the structure block. I do it all the time.

I believe the structure block only works on the same world as the structure is in. I may be wrong, but I think that's the case.

No, If you go into your .minecraft folder and then to saves, you can copy a structure from one world to another. In your first world save, you'll find a structures folder with all the structures of that world in it. If you copy the one you want, go to a different world, make a new structures folder (if there isn't one already) and copy your structure into that folder, you'll be able to use the structure in the second world the same way you could in the first world. I hope all this made sense, but anyway, it is possible.

It's pretty easy to do it with the structure block. If you don't know how, then I can explain.

I don't think so, unless you make the structure block by block by using the command block only. Which is tough. So I recommend using World Edit for that.
If not, just build it again, it's far less painful.

if its in 1.10 then try using structure blocks but i suggest to make a backup of the world first k
