i'd wait up to five minutes for 1.7.9+ versions, up to 3 hours for 1.7.4- so also re upload the skin if the progress fails (which never happened to me)

here it things, it worked fine for past weeks, it always showed up every 2sec, till 2 days ago my old skin still here but never showed new skin after waiting 5min still same skin as before.

i might as well send report to mojang.

Since 1.7.9 or so, there's a new skin caching system in place where servers may cache skins (if I understand it correctly) - as well, the skin server might be caching it.

It may take a while for everybody to refresh it. Try joining single player or a server you've never been to before and see if it changes there. Otherwise, send a tweet to @MojangSupport.

Yes, you need to wait a few minuets. For some reason sometimes it will show the Steve skin but other people will be able to see it, just not you.
