Could a Moderator delete my account?

I made this account years ago and I don't use it anymore. I was wondering if a moderator of the site could delete my account.

We don't delete accounts. In the future, please make a ticket instead of a forum thread when trying to contact a staff member. We can answer question more quickly that way.

I've been told that the moderators don't usually delete accounts for logging reasons. I don't see any harm in you just logging out of the account and not using it anymore (assuming you're not using another account lol).
