General Lag Issues mostly with mods
So I was running 1.7.10 using the rainbow lucky block version 1.2 for 1.7.10
much more spiders mod, rainbow mod, pandora's box, iron chest, better furnace, enchanting+, mutant creatures, orespawn, regular lucky block. When I went to the brown ant dimension it froze completely and everyso often would let me move an entire half block than freeze again for another 5 min. It eventually just froze I had to restart minecraft. I also had issues spawning pandoras box. But even without mods it still lags a lot more than it should. This was single player, with fast graphic settings everything off and lowest chunk loading. My computer is 12 gb ram, 6 core amd fx 3.9ghz, 2 tb hard drive and a nvidia gtx 660. Not the greatest computer but nowhere near bad.
Is there something I am doing wrong? Something I can change? I tried optifine but it did not work.

How much RAM do you have allocated to Minecraft? Click on "Edit profile" and check "JVM Arguments". Enter in
Where 5 is replaced with the number of Gigabytes of ram you want MC to set aside for itself to use as needed.

You really have no need to ever do more than 2gb. I have never personally used over 500mb.

This doesn't help that much at all.

If the game is crashing it could be that its run out of Memory. This is especially the case with mods installed. I have crashed with shaders and a minimap installed, and usually use close to 2gb of RAM for the game to run.

I've played with SEUS Ultra shaders on Minecraft with all the settings cranked and running several mods (VoxelMap, Macro/Keybind, etc.), but almost never used more than 1 of the 2 GB I allocated.

Ok but I have seen people use the mod before. And like I said even un modded it is slow. I was hoping to find out there is something up with how I installed minecraft or settings in java or something

Pandoras box is known to cause lag.

As for the mods I have run FTB ultimate and not had this much problem. But either way it is being very laggy and nasty even on un modded servers and single players.

Also, try TAKING LUCKY BLOCK RAINBOW OUT.

Try not having so much mods.
