I just got a 2 gb server from JJ Servers, I got it set up for vanilla minecraft but we was wanting yogscast complete, or at least tekkit just something more than the basic game. In the control panel to select mods our choices are Default, Default Minecraft Server, Mod: Craftbukkit, Mod: Craftbukkit beta, and Optimized Minecraft Server. Default is vanilla but I couldn't figure out what the rest are. I've submitted a ticket for help but still waiting on a response.
I'm really new to all this and eager to learn really need someone with experience to help teach me the basics of setting up a server.

JJ servers, use the multicast panel. All you need to do is upload the server JAR file to /jar in the panel. you should then fill in the name of the jar file in the box below the drop down. Now you should be running Tekkit

Could I get screenshots of this panel, as I've never heard of it. But Enjin is a website creator.

It's Enjin control panel, it does have a drop down but it has Default, Default Minecraft Server, Mod: Craftbukkit, Mod: Craftbukkit beta, and Optimized Minecraft Server.Those are my choices and can't seem to get anything to work but Vanilla.

If you have a jar file of the server. Try uploading to a folder called 'jar'. A jar doesn't need to be unzipped

What panel are you using? You shouldn't need to upload anything there should be a dropdown with a list in there

I'm trying to do Tekkit Lite, do I need to unzip the file before uploading it? Or does that matter? Also Where do I upload the file to?

You will need to manually upload the Yogscast Complete pack server.jar. Then you will be able to state the name of the jar file in the panel
