DashWolfWhen I tried to change my skin it gave an error. It said "Forbidden" I tried to change my skin many times at different times today but it kept giving the same error.The last time I changed my skin was 2-3 weeks ago. I tried to change 2 different skins thinking the skin might be causing the problem but it didn't work. I also tried to upload the skin using the website. Then I downloaded it and tried again. But still It was saying "forbidden"
- I use the latest version of Minecraft and the skins are compatible with the latest version.
- My internet connection is good.
- I use the PC version of Minecraft but my computer uses Windows 10 and I was able to change skins before.
- I can't reset my skin too, it says "Something went wrong when trying to reset your skin. Please try again later." when I click the reset button.

I had the same problem, now I have a new problem xD Now it says; Could not connect to server, Please try changing at a later time; while on my ipad it says something wrong with my account so I'm stuck with the skin I have and I'm scared I wont be able to change it again xD If anyone knows how to help let me know.
Also ive only been able to upload my skins on the launcher, everything else says forbidden until now so (Send halp pls xD)

Try another skin, then try uploading it

I tried 3-4 different skins but didn't work.. But its fixed now :)

if by now its not working you could try minecraftskins.com most of the people on her use skindex as well

I was dealing with the same problem and I think I found a solution. Open your Minecraft Launcher on your desktop and at the top of the there should be a tab called "skins". Click that and then click "browse" choose your skin file, then save it.

Forbidden usually means that the server has forcefully blocked you from using a site. One thing I'm missing out on: how did you try to change it? Did you use the launcher or did you go to the website manually?
It could be that the server just glitched out, first start by restarting your game (the launcher). If that doesn't work try firing up a browser and go to the site manually using this link: https://minecraft.net/en-us/profile/. (always be careful with following links to profile pages!, that's why I pasted the full URL).

I agree with macksuperstarPMC, btw if it doesn't work you can check youtube videos for detailed info ;)

usally the server connection isnt very good so delete the server and then re-enter it into you game that usally works for me

Ok ill try, i tried searching for videos but all of them are just people playing on the server, its veltpvp btw

Thank you! I was using the website and I forgot about the launcher and tried it using the launcher and it worked! Thank you again! But I can't sill use the website to change my skin but at least can change it some how.

the server may be down, that happens to me occasionally, wait about 2 days and hopefully it will work
