I could use a hand with this, I am having problems joining a friend's server.

So, here is my problem:
Everytime I try to join my friend's server I keep getting this error,
io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information:
-I have checked if I was on the most recent update 1.13.1 (which the error is happening on).
-The server is not unresolved hostname, I just cannot connect to it.
-I have never seen this before, ever.
-I can connect to other servers, without this error.
If you can help me thank you.

I believe your friends server is not running at the moment you attempted to join. Make sure he started his server and make sure he Port forwarded.

Alright, I'll collobrate with him on that. Then I'll get back to you if it works or not.
