Alright, here's our issue, Permissions isn't showing up on /plugins anymore, and it doesn't work.
What happened?
Our server has recently gotten 2 donators, who donated to help out with the purchase of a .com domain for our website.
Permissions 5 didn't work when we first started the server, so I went with Permissions 2.7. I had to manually go to the config file everytime we made someone a moderator.
So, yesterday I went into the config, and copy/pasted the 'Moderator' group, and changed the permissions and stuff and made it 'Donator'.
I reloaded, and then some mods that were online said "Wait, why am I demodded?".
Their names wern't yellow anymore (on our server mod's have yellow names)
The config file was there, the permissions.jar was in the plugins folder, whats wrong?
I did /plugins, and Permissions wasn't showing up.
Mod's didn't have permission to do stuff they normally could like kick/mute, etc.
We even updated to the new Bukkit recommended build for 1.1!

If you need a hand with group manager - i use it alot and am good with it. Just let me know if you do

I am going with GroupManager, but that YAML parser is SUPER helpful! I am going to check for errors asap.

Try using Group Manager or parse the config files with a yaml parser. If that doesn't work try redownloading the plugin and use the ingame commands to add permissions and people to the groups.

Try manually typing in each name,cause i assume you copy and pasted correct?

Try using permissions ex, bpermissons or group manager

double check your plugins. check if the programming is compatible.

Yep, they can't use their abilities. @Orthokid, yeah, I went over it three times, it's set up fine. No spacing errors or anything.

have they tested their mod abilities? it may have gotten rid of the yellow name,but kept them as mods

did you check the format for the permissions and see if you typed a letter on accident?
