Hey there!
So i have this NEW problem in Minecraft 1.7.2. When i go to multiplayer, the servers load so slow. Sometimes i have to wait for like 2 minutes just for the server to load and let me join. BUT it wasn't like this in Minecraft 1.6.4. They were loading fast. have you got the solution to this? Is it a world wide problem or just me? Please help me!

Are you talking about the server list, or connecting to a server?
If it's the server list it has a tiny bit to do with what Paril mentioned, but a lot to do with Minecraft's screwy way of dealing with 1.6 and lower servers listed in your server list. They take forever to time out.
If it's connecting to a 1.7.2 server, then I have no idea, they connect so much fast than 1.6.x worlds for me.

I believe they meant the server list, yeah. Compared to old packet, which may return like 12 bytes to ~36 bytes of data per server, each server has the possibility of returning several hundred thousand bytes via the base64'd image. It's definitely a problem.

This is a known issue if the server has a server-icon set. The icon generally takes up quite a bit of packet space (although it's not huge, it's still a lot bigger than the packet would be if the icon wasn't there).
I ran into the same issue while writing the 1.7.2 ping code for PMC. The icon makes the packet much larger since it's a base64-encoded PNG.

This happens to me too. And it only happens in 1.7.2. I'm trying to join a vanilla server, but it takes about 1 min for it to load

I'm using spigot. But I made sure to backup.

What's wrong with spigot?
At the moment, there is a spigot build which allows 1.7.2 users to connect, but is still basically a 1.6.4 server.

I was having this but as you begin using 1.7.2 more and 1.6.4 less the problem seemed to clear itself up.
