Just wanted to check this out, then saw this guys problem. In the configuration for essentials (go to your plugins folder, then look for a essentials folder. then open up config) look for this: teleport-delay: 5
It will be set to zero, this is just copied and pasted from my config. change the five to whatever you want it to be.

Hi i want to make a bukkit server with factions and heroes but i have no idea how. Ive tried checking on youtube but most of them are no help. I know how to download the server thing from minecraft.net but then idk how to get and use bukkit and how to set up the text files and stuff. I have windows and im just completely lost :/ plz help meeee

ok, first of all you actually don't need the server from minecraft.net. you can get rid of it.
1. Make a file called whatever your server name is.
2. Go to bukkit.com and download the recommended build, found here: dl.bukkit.org/latest-rb/craftbukkit.jar.
3. Open notepad and type:
java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar craftbukkit.jar -o true nogui
PAUSE
In the text, it says craftbukkit.jar (in red) but should be named whatever the name of the .jar is. So, it might look like:
java -Xms1024M -Xmx1024M -jar craftbukkit-1.3.2-R1.0.jar -o true nogui
PAUSE
4. Save the text you entered as RUN.bat. With some programs such as Notepad, it may try saving as run.bat.txt. When saving to a file name, put the name in quotes: "run.bat" ONLY if it saves as run.bat.txt.
5. Double click RUN.bat. The server will start! Don't worry about errors, the files just need to be generated.
Connect by typing localhost into the ip box.If you see "'Java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." when you click RUN.bat then you need to reinstall Java.

can you help me? i am trying to setup my server for tekkit and when i try to raise the RAM i get this message:

i have 12GB of ram i only have one version of java on my computer and its java 64bit, and dont worry cause i run a 64bit system. do you know what the cause of this error might be?

also, make sure java is pathed properly.
what version of java do you have (7 is recommended)?
the issue probably is you are trying to give your server more ram than your computer has. check your server ram compared to your computer ram before anything else.

The plugins i have are mcMMO, Essentials, Lockette, DisguiseCraft, Factions, Survival Games theres is more.Can you make sure you add the Admin Chat for the staff ranks the command is (/a) its in mcMMO.And i added another rank its for staff its [Head-Mod] Thx.

Well, my type of help needed is a little bit different...
I'm in need of new ideas, right now I'm running a Factions, PvP, Raiding, etc, server and it started off with 20-25 players daily, now down to 0. I'm in need of a change with my server, probably the type to something that will be successful in both players earned and then hopefully donations.
I don't want to be paying or my server all the time!!!
Do you have any big ideas?

etc. these are typical server types, you see them EVERYWHERE. Try something no one has done, and get unique plugins. Here's some ideas:

Hi I have a non Hamachi server but when i connect it works but when my friends try to connect they say it is either Read Time out or Connection Failed I port-fowarded my server I Restarted my computer still didnt work also i have Java 6 32 Bit On a 64 bit computer i only used 32 bit because Minecraft wouldnt work with 64 bit and I try to update to Java 7 but cant Even after Deleting Java 6 but it says Cant Find Java so i re download Java 6 and im just right now! Please Help!!

1. uninstall java 6, go to the website, and install java 7 without having java 6. the problem probably isnt java, though.
2. search 'whats my ip' on google and tell your friends to connect using the ip you see there.
3. re-try portforwarding, you might have done it wrong. maybe you entered the wrong port or ip? tell me the router and model you have and the info you entered when you portforwarded. use the port 25565, dont use any other port.
4. make sure your firewall isnt blocking your friends from connecting.
5. make sure you have a static ip that wont change. most routers give out dynamic ips, which change every time you connect.
6. maybe your friends have to put the port at the end of the ip (for example 00.0.000.000:12345)

omg i tried ALL of those didnt freaking work like i said i CANT uninstall java because im missing a dll file and nothing is helping also i gave my friends the right ip i checked my firewall its not blocking them so how do i fix the dll thing and get my friends on the server huh

is the server_ip section in server properties blank?

as for the java issue, did you use Ccleaner or did you just try to delete it?

there is an issue with multiworld, maybe a plugin conflict? it says an error while executing a command, did you type any commands? also, i suggest multiverse and multiverse portals if the problem persists. also, do you know who has the ip 10.10 17:58:18?

disguisecraft is sorta like mobdisguise. they are basically the same. simplyvanish lets you dissapear and reappear easily, though theres things about it i havent taken a look at.
oh, and the numbers on the side in parentheses show how good i am at it. 10= expert, 1= not good
