Permission fails Need Help!

Hey,
I have a problem with my permission folder!
I know when you have groups, your chat bar should end up like this:
[Default] Forcestaken: Hey
But when i type anything this comes out:
<Forcestaken> hey
What is wrong?
I have groups file filled with groups i want and in users i added my name with the group i want.
I also have iChat! SO WHAT IS WRONG?
Please I Really Need Help!
