Players (non-op's) can't break any blocks

i have this problem on my server where all players or ranks that are not OP can't break blocks, it gives them no error message and say it is like they are inside the spawn protection.
I have tried many things including: permissions modifyworld.*,modifyworld.blocks.place.*,modifyworld.blocks.destroy.*,modifyworld.blocks.interact.*,essentials.build. none of them fixed it. I also removed the essentials antibuild and essentials protect. i tried putting all these in diffrent combinations but it didn't work.
my server is not very popular yet and with this error it will never be. please help.

I would be concerned if owners couldn't figure this out 2-4 years after they made a post about it. :p

I believe if you have installed group manager, then you can add interacting/building permissions to certain groups. To add the permissions to your group do: /mangaddp default essentials.build - You can also use a group that you have created.
The plugins required to do this are:
GroupManager and Essentials.

Im having the same problem! i cant figure this out it says You Are not permitted to interact with <Block> SOOO IRRITATING this happens to all non ops

since ur using permissions ex put this perm for defaults Modifyworld.*

It's probably the essentialsantibuild plugin, just delete the jar file.

yeah same with me I have installed group manager right but once players get into survival they cannot interact with blocks. How do I fix this

If you have a groupmanager plugin set the Defaults group's Build to True because by default it is on False. if this doesen't help please send me a private message.

I work on a PC and i have both teamviewer and skype and yes any items players have in their inventories glitch and keep going away. i'll send you a PM for my skype.

It replaces any permission plugin you have. I'm professional with it and I will help for free. I'm pretty positive it will work. I used to have the same problem with PermissionsEx until I switched to GroupManager. Do you have a MAC or PC? If PC, Do you have TeamViewer or Skype? And also, are the Non-OP's having a glitching hotbar?

for some reason it still doesn't work, I also noticed that mobs are not attracted to me like i'm invisible but i'm quite sure that I am not.
and yes it is bukkit i have about 25 plugins installed and i think the ones that apply here are: worldguard, multiworld, essentials, permissionsEX and maybe creativecontrol but I doubt it.

is it bukkit? if so go in the file that says 'Server' and scroll down to Spawn-Protection and instead of number that's already there set it to 0
