Hello. My shaders are not being nice. When ever i load them up they say:
Invaild program "composite"
Invalid program "composite 1"
Invalid program "final"

Does anyone know what's going on?????

Well, i'm using a laptop so idk if that counts as a desktop and i will try the shader you suggested. Thx!

Drivers don't seem to support OpenGL 110+. Not sure why developers still use the f postfix for floats, doesn't really change much especially seeing how many errors a simple postfix caused then. There really aren't any packs out there that don't use anything below 120 anyway, it's all 120, 410 or 410 compatibility. 120 is basically the standard for all packs, with 410 being used in packs that use more advanced techniques.

As far as what Lee said, it's always good to try but you seem to have errors in all files including final. Shadows are only done in composites, I think they're calculated in either composite or composite1 so removing that part of the pack would likely only remove a small part of the problem rather than the whole, which is that the GL version being used isn't supported.

Basically, you're due for an upgrade. I doubt there will be a pack out there that you can run at this point, considering the errors choc's pack threw for you and how 90% of the packs out there are choc bases.

Since you're using a laptop, a GPU upgrade is out of the question.

Have you tried out the beta versions of his packs? Shadows were removed for a substantial performance improvement, and may have potentially removed the part of the pack that is causing you trouble.

that report wasn't from SEUS it was from continuum shaders, which is the one i really want to use.
Also how do i re-install optifine?
btw do you know of any good cheap graphics cards?

As Sergeant Sarcasm said, Continuum is based on SEUS. SEUS is notorious for basically not working at all on Intel graphics, so you could try another pack (I recommend testing out the lite version of Chocapic13's shaders) or get a graphics card as you suggested.

You are using a desktop, correct?

Continuum is based on SEUS, to reinstall Optifine just delete the optifine version you have and download the latest or recommended version of Optifine for your MC version and install.
The GTX 1050 might be a good option, depends on your price range. It goes for around $100-120 from what I see. I haven't done enough research into budget computer parts though, so I can't help very much in that department. I do know that the 1050 is a good, fast, cheap graphics card with a compact build though.

That's strange, these are all unused programs by Optifine. They don't exist in SEUS and I don't believe Optifine would even be loading a missing program for one that's unused. Try re-installing Optifine

Click second option, the one with the longest description.

You can run it from downloads, no extra installation required.
Click reset settings, sign back in to Minecraft then create a new profile. Name it whatever, click the check box for launcher visibility, then click the drop down menu that is no longer grayed out. Click always open, then go to use version and select the version of forge or optifine that you're using for shaders. Click save profile, select that profile, launch. Select the shader, and once you get the errors you were talking about in chat, copy and paste the console into a spoiler and post it here. If you want more in depth detail about how to enable the console I have one on the thread for my shaders.

Yes I mean the game output, not a crash log. The crash should have nothing to do with shaders, if a shader has a problem it just doesn't compile or initialize, shouldn't crash.

We need to know the console output to help you, and the exact version of SEUS. v11, v10.2? Also, the screen shrinkage is not an Intel specific thing, it just means that there is an error in final. Sonic Ether writes his bloom to a buffer, that if there were an error in final, it would pass through to the final image. The shrunken screens are just the bloom tiles.

Also, to get the console to appear, you need to edit the profile you use for shaders, and click the checkbox for launcher visibility then go to the drop down and click always open. This is for the old launcher btw, the new launcher's console is completely ineffective and will not be able to help me or you with your problem because it crashes after a minute of being up.

The screen shrinkage is a sure sign you are using Intel integrated graphics. Most shader packs don't work with Intel graphics.
