World-Edit!!!!! - This is so annoying!!!
Okay well this problem has occurred to so many people!
Sadly no-one knows a fix or rather they do but can't share it due to what ever reasons.
However I would like a simple fix for this.
//HPOS1
//HPOS2
Well I don't like doing this everytime I want to use world edit.
Yes this is annoying.. It makes me miss 1.0.0 due to world edit working perfectly...
Okay so please help me and post a comment on how to fix this
Thank-you!

A great program that I use to view the yml files is notepad++

If the wooden axe does not return pos1 and 2 on click you do not have access to worldedit. The most likely culprit is an error in the permissions file. If it is your server and you are set as OP already, this could be as simple as an extra space or a special character like a period or bracket in the wrong place.
I recommend you download a free program used to view Code. there is several out there. I believe the one I use (since i'm not at my home pc at the moment) is a c++ file viewer which will open the file to read it as code as opposed to notepad which will not correctly space out any inconsistancies such as spacing which is the most common issue in permissions file next to the infamous misplaced period.
If you are using this in single player, I would suggest you use Single Player Commands, so long as it is up to date with all current updates and make sure you follow the instructions to a T. the delete the INI file which you can use Win Zip to open and remove from inside the other file is crucially important to making SPC's command work.

Did you modify the configuration of world edit? Is the wand-item: still set to 271?
If you type in //wand it should give you whatever you set for that ID

Be sure you have rights to use worldedit.
If you don't, add this permission node to yourself:
- worldedit.*
Or just op yourself.

Use left-click using the wooden axe to determine position 1, and right-click using the wooden axe (//wand) to determine position 2.
Commands to select position 1 and 2 are: //pos1 and //pos2
* Ensure you are looking at the correct block when carrying out the commands above.
