Try asking people that are not modders what they would like in Minecraft as a mod. I myself am not a person that makes mods. I would like to for fun, but I don't know how. I think others are that way too. So next time when you are stuck in an idea, ask someone from the Minecraft community that doesn't mod for ideas. You can always PM a random player asking for a suggestion on PMC.
