Hello
I am looking to get a mod for my mod pack that burns players if they are in the sun after a few days, eg.
Steve spawns in on the mod pack server for the first time, and has X amount of days to gather materials before burning when in the sun.
The modpack is running 1.7.10 and I'm wondering what people can suggest me?

just add the ai that makes the zombie burn to the player

Making this mod yourself s really easy though. Just check fro the top of the player till worldheight if there are no blocks (air:0) if thats true let the player take dage if the time is right.
