[Poll] City of Carcasonne: who knows?

Just a little poll to know if foreigners (i'm french) know the medieval city of Carcasonne (south France). I'd like to do a project about it, but I need to know if it is as known as they say inside it. I live near, I see that many english/german/spanish go to visit it. Have you ever heard/seen/visited about it?

I have heard about it but have never been out of continental united states. Sorry I couldnt be of help.
