Shadow Glitches with Client Worldedit

I've been working on a map (name and actual purpose secret for now) and have constantly tun into trouble with light glitches. Does anyone know how to actually fix these? I've tried everything and nothing has worked. I'm using Forge and a Worldedit mod to create large structures. The shadows appear under large overhangs that I create with commands. Any help would be appreciated.

When I fix the lighting and relog it just comes back.

The lightning doesn't update properly because of Worldedit. Try relogging the server/world. That should do the trick!

I don't know how to stop them but usually updating the blocks by placing a torch will fix the area
