Disguise Cobweb as Stone?
I'm creating an adventure map, where crawling through vents will be an option, the only problem is that the vent needs to be 1x1 blocks wide. I know that it's possible to use /summon FallingSand and set {TileID} to a certain block, but if you summon FallingSand it will automatically disappear quickly, and the only way to (visually) keep the from disappearing is by putting the command into a command block and then set it to a clock, which will cause lag. Therefore, I'm wondering if it's possible to set out other blocks (e.g. cobweb) and then disguise them as e.g. stone?

Only problem with that is that blocks on armor stands are smaller than blocks in the world. Depending on the block used, it may look kinda weird. If that's not an issue for the map, then this would definitely work, as no clock would be required.
The only other place I've seen this done was in The Heist, and they did it by retexturing a carpet to look like and iron block.

Oh, yeah... Forgot about that. But it's an entity being changed in this case as well, just like my example

Sadly, no. Only entities can be changed like that, and Falling Sand is one. :/ Sorry bro
