As the title explains, I'm having trouble giving a item frame a colored wool block. So far I can use {Item:{id:"minecraft:wool"}} to make it have a white wool block. When trying to add values it stops working.

If you add the damage value of the wool to the item data, it should change the color. Since red wool has a damage value of 14, the data structure would be:
