"Heartbeat Clock" - Is this an original design?

While messing around with redstone, I came up with a clock design that I call a "Heartbeat Clock" because it puts out the perfect rhythm of a heartbeat. By changing the repeaters, it can also put out a typical clock rhythm, a 3 pulse, and a 7s/3s burnout that automatically restarts.
Is this an original design - did I 'invent' this - or is it something that's already been discovered? If so, can you point me to the image/video that shows it?

I'm pretty sure someone has already set repeaters to a heartbeat rythem before.

I made this before on an older server, but players thought it was annoying to hear it every time you were on low health.
Anyways, I don't have problems with you taking credit. Just being proud of me doing it before xD

I would love to see a screen grab or video. I'm curious if there are any difference between your design and mine. I don't suppose you have either.

I think the other guy (Bertie) had some sort of way to hear a heartbeat sound (plugin? mod? cmd block?) which would be very different than the Adults Only MC clock

By the way, I have a simple suggestion that improve the sense of "heartbeats".
Put a note block next to the redstone block, which is right on a stone block so that it makes the sound of base drum. It would not only look like heartbeats, but sound like heartbeats, too!

I have never seen this before. Pretty cool Can't really think of many things it could be used for. Maybe connected to a command block that plays a heartbeat sound from a resource pack for part of a creepy background noise in some sort of horror map?
Redstoners seem to find all sorts of ways to use mechanics to make some interesting things.
